I don't have a place to sleep in the shelter. Can I camp or bivouac in the surroundings?

What time are dinners served? And the breakfasts?
Dinner is served at 7:00 p.m. Our dining room has a limited capacity, so some days we have to organize a second dinner shift at 8:00 p.m., and exceptionally a third at 9:00 p.m. But this is only done if the shift at 7:00 p.m. is complete, and in no case can a shift be chosen. Breakfasts have a schedule that varies according to the time of sunrise, but is usually served between 6:30 and 8:30. Consult the refuge for the specific timetable at that time.
Is it always necessary to book? Can I do it by phone?
To stay in the refuge or to sleep outside it is essential to book, regardless of the time of year in which we find ourselves. Reservations are made exclusively online. Access the reservation center of the Aragonese Federation of Mountaineering to check the availability calendar and make your reservation. Do I need to bring a sleeping bag? Are there blankets?
As a hygiene measure during the validity of the COVID19 containment protocol, it will be mandatory to bring a sleeping bag for all guests. In addition, the pillows have been removed.
I'm going to sleep outside. Can I use the toilets and showers?
Yes. The shower is included in the rate price. We have outside toilets for use by campers. But please, don’t leave your trash in toilet paper bins or use the sink as a sink for dirty dishes.

Can I go up with my car to the Pradera de Ordesa? What timetable does the bus from Torla to Pradera have?
Access to the Pradera de Ordesa is restricted to private vehicles only during the periods of greatest influx of visitors to the National Park (Easter, summer and Puente del Pilar), with the bus service from Torla to the Pradera coming into operation. Can I rent crampons and ice axes at the refuge? And snowshoes?
Yes. In the refuge you can rent crampons and ice axes, it is not necessary to reserve it in advance, book in advance (except groups of more than 10 people). We currently do not have snowshoes for rent.
Where are the garbage containers? Can I leave my garbage in the shelter?
You must take down with you all the waste of the things that you have uploaded, since there is no garbage collection service in the refuge or in its surroundings. That’s why there are no bins or trash cans around here. Keep in mind that the garbage generated by the refuge must be taken down by helicopter, something with a very high economic cost. If you buy something in our canteen (drinks, food, etc), you can give us the waste afterwards.
